BergvIlla Vivaldi is located in the heart of the Hochkönig region in the valley with the villages of Muhlbach, Dienten and Mariaalm. The majestic peak of the Hochkönig, nicknamed "Peak of Emotions" towers high above the valley at 2941 meters like a true king. The mountain panoramas, the endless views, the culinary mountain huts, the diversity, the landscapes form a beautiful backdrop for a wonderful adventure full of unforgettable emotions. Villa Vivaldi is therefore the perfectly located base for a great holiday, if we may say so ourselves.

I, Marjolein, born and raised in North Holland and after the for many known catering jobs I started the study International Hospitality Management in Leeuwarden. The outdoors and nature have always attracted me enormously, so I soon ended up in France for several summer seasons on campsites and in recreation teams. That is how I met Ivo in 2005 who ran a summer location with his outdoor company in the beautiful Gorges du Verdon, South France. Since then we share our passions together: being outdoors, outdoor sports, nature, food, tourism, mountains. We were able to run our outdoor sports company together for 10 years and it brought us to beautiful locations in France, Italy, Czech Republic with Belgium as our last stop, where we ran an inn and campsite and provided outdoor activities for groups. In 2012 we ended up in Flachau, in Chalet Auhof.
I, Ivo, born and raised in The Hague and have always been a free spirit. From a young age I was a fanatic climber and later canyoning and caving. The leap to the outdoors and outdoor sports was therefore quickly made. With a bit of luck I was allowed to start my first summer location with my company in Castellane, where I also met Marjolein that first season. Since then we have always been on adventures together. We opened a summer location in Corsica, moved with our company to the Belgian Ardennes, where we rented an inn and camping site and were allowed to spend our last 6 summer seasons on the Italian island of Sardinia. In recent years I have spread my wings again and I have 'left' the outdoor (professionally) to fully focus on my freelance work as a Rope Access climber. A wonderful job, being fully busy myself, meeting nice people at special locations all over the world. When we suddenly received a call from the owner of Auhof, the decision was quickly made. A piece of our heart lies in Flachau and Auhof and blood is thicker than water. Tourism, guests, gastronomy, cooking, receiving people, winter sports, having fun.
In 2024 we were lucky enough to find and buy Bergvilla Vivaldi, which finally allowed us to create our own little paradise. Let yourself be surprised, bis bald!
